Traditionally Hand-Carved Copper Statue For Green Tara Hand Mudra Practice
The Green Tara Hand Mudra Practice in Traditional Nepal Art was meticulously hand-carved by us, utilizing a conventional Himalayan sculpting method. With a contented look and a lotus in each palm, we portrayed the female Buddha sitting atop the moon disc lotus throne. The body is made of oxidized copper body. We spent more than a month working in our workshop to create the hand-craving for pattern designs on the statue's crown, utpala, and robe. We also adorned the crown and body ornaments (a necklace, earrings, bracelets, and anklets) with precious gemstones. This statue may be utilized for a number of Buddhist rites as well as regular exercises like yoga and meditation. The statue weighs about 8.38 kg, and it took us months of hard work and dedication to complete it.

Green Tara is portrayed as compassionate, providing comfort and protection from the world's suffering. In Buddhism, her mantra is "om tare tuttare ture soha" by reciting this mantra; We are merely asking for Tara's blessings and assistance with our daily lives and "real world" problems. To be freed from the misery of mental delusions and negative emotions, and to achieve the same enlightened body, speech, and mind that Tara represents, not just for our benefit, but for the benefit of all sentient beings.
