Traditionally handmade Large Statue of Amitabha Buddha
With the skills of sculpting sacred deities passed down to us from generations, we have carved this beautiful large statue of Amitabha Buddha in our studio. Amitabha is known as immeasurable light in Buddhism. The deity is depicted seated upon a moon disc lotus in a Dhyana Aasan or meditative posture while holding an alms bowl with both hands. Carved on a copper body and gilded with genuine 24k gold, we have given the deity a polished, finished look. The entire statue is simple yet filled with intricate details on the robe.
The statue weighs 21kg and can be a tremendous addition to your altar.

Amitabha is well-known for his longevity, the accumulation of discernment, pure perception, and the profound awareness of the emptiness of phenomena. According to these scriptures, Amitabha has infinite merit as a result of his good deeds in countless previous lives as a bodhisattva named Dharmakra. Because Amitabha means "Infinite Light" and Amityus means "Infinite Life," Amitabha is also known as "The Buddha of Immeasurable Light and Life."
