Exquisite Tsongkhapa Buddhist Statue Symbol of Wisdom and Enlightenment
Handcrafted Tsongkhapa Buddhist Master's dignified demeanor, the finely crafted lotus throne, and his extravagant robes, with each fold and ornament precisely hand-carved to perfection. This monument represents the essence of his spiritual legacy by holding the sword of wisdom and the sutra text, both of which represent his teachings. The statue is handcrafted in Nepal, with the copper body delicately embellished with triple layers of 24K gold gilding, deeply engraved carving, and intricate acrylic & gold paintings.
The deity is shown with both hands clasped over his chest each holding a lotus stem that spreads and blossoms alongside his head with a sword and sacred text while reclining atop a lotus moon disk with a serene face. Our artist spent months finishing the intricate carvings on the statue's robes and head. The deity's minute attributes were hand-carved using a hammer and chisels.

Tsongkhapa (1357–1419) is a well-known Tibetan religious philosopher. A devout monastic, Tsongkhapa took on the difficult task of locating and studying all of the Indian Buddhist classics in Tibet in his day. In his iconic form, wearing a tall yellow hat, he is the center of the Gelugpa sect that was dominant in Tibet until the Chinese takeover in 1951 and whose de facto leader is the Dalai Lama.
