This handmade statue of Tibetan Guru statues set is standing at 8.5”/21.5cm (Height) and 7.1”/18cm (Base). This statue is made up of a copper body with 24k gold gilded. Designed by talented Nepalese artisans, this detailed sculpture is ideal for altars, meditation areas, or as a meaningful decor item for individuals seeking awareness in their daily lives.
The central and largest figure is Marpa Lotsawa (1012-1097), the founder of the lineage. He is depicted as a portly man with a dark blue ushnisha, the mark of a Buddhist teacher. Marpa is in a meditation pose. The figure on the bottom left is Milarepa (1052-1135), the most famous student of Marpa. He wears a white robe, which is a sign of his ascetic lifestyle, and a guru hat. His hands are in his lap in a meditation pose. The figure on the bottom right is Gampopa (1079-1153), another of Marpa's main students. He is depicted as a renunciate with a shaved head and wearing monastic robes. He is sitting in a relaxed posture with his hand supporting his head.
