Tibetan Buddhism Guru Rinpoche statue of the great spiritual teacher, created with passion and creativity, is a representation of the Enlightened Tantric Master. This revered statue, which is 9.3" (23.5 cm) tall and 6.3" (16 cm) wide at the base, weighs 2.60 kg and is composed of copper. The statue is handcrafted in Nepal, with the copper body delicately embellished with triple layers of 24K gold gilding, deeply engraved carving, and intricate acrylic & gold paintings.
Guru Rinpoche is depicted sitting on a lotus seat, gazing down with a semi-wrathful face. He is holding a vajra (thunderbolt scepter) and a skull cup, symbolizing the transmutation of negative energies into wisdom and enlightenment. A khatang (Ritual Staff) rests on his shoulder. He wears a beautifully elaborated, hand-carved monk robe and a hat.
