Traditional Tibetan Dorje Phagmo The Dakini Statue
With exquisite design patterns seen only in Nepal, the Dorje Phagmo The Dakini Statue was traditionally hand-crafted by experienced craftsmen in our studio. An oxidized copper body was used to carve the figure, with intricate attributes of the deity. She is also known as Vajravarahi, the whole feminine manifestation of Buddhahood. She clutches a funeral knife in her right hand and a skullcup in her left. She holds a khatvanga stick in the crook of her left elbow as she stands atop a human corpse. She has three eyes and dances with her right leg flexed and her left leg straight. Diamonds are embedded all over her bare body.
