Traditionally Hand Carved Small Shakyamuni Buddha Sculpture
The small Shakyamuni Buddha sculpture is seated atop a moon disc lotus seat with a calm and meditating expression. This beautiful Buddhist statue is hand-carved by Nepali artists in copper and gilded in 24K gold. The robe exposes his right shoulder and arm while concealing his left shoulder and arm, plated in gold. The artisan of the Nepali statue has been passed from generation to generation.

Shakyamuni Buddha was born as a prince in a royal family. He abandoned his palace life in order to figure out what was causing misery and how to cure it.
