Traditional Buddhist Siddhartha Gautama Enlightenment Statue
We are the Kathmandu Valley artist and have finely handmade the Siddhartha Gautama Enlightenment Statue in the classic Himalayan Art style. The skillset of crafting such figurines has been passed down for generations. The deity in the statue is portrayed seated on vajra posture holding an alms bowl above his lap with his left hand and slightly touching the ground with his other hand symbolizing his attained enlightenment. To mold the body we have used copper where we have hand-craved intricate design patterns. This is later gilded using 24K pure gold. The acrylic paintings has been used magnificently to further highlight the attributes of the deity. The crown, robe and the seat is artistically adorned with precious corals and gemstones.
This Shakyamuni Buddha Statue will be a perfect gift for a practitioner like you aiding in your daily practices.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain in life. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
