Religious Statue of Founder of Buddhism For Shakyamuni Buddha Day
The Religious Statue For Shakyamuni Buddha Day was manually carved using the vintage Vajrayana method at our Nepali workshop. The superb acrylic painting that covers its copper body and 24k real gold gilding further highlights the statue's exquisite design patterns. The god is shown in a contemplative pose while seated on a moon disc lotus and has a serene countenance. Because of its designed throne and detailed structure, it took us many months to complete this statue.

Siddhartha Gautama was born the crown prince of the powerful Shakya Kingdom and raised to be a monarch in accordance with his royal father's wishes. He heard about people's enormous anguish in life when he was approximately 29 years old. He gave up his palace life and all of his opulent robes and wealth in order to figure out what was causing the pain and how to relieve it. He reached his goal after nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and intense focus. He'd reached nirvana (a Buddha). He then claimed to have gone to a deer park on the outskirts of Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).
