Traditionally Seated Shakyamuni Buddha Statue
Shakyamuni Buddha is seated atop a moon disc lotus seat in this statue. A Nepali artist traditionally carves the sculpture by hand in Kathmandu. The large and beautiful elongated earlobes symbolize a conscious rejection of the material world in favor of spiritual enlightenment. The Ushnisha above the head is purely hand-made by the artist, which indicates the wisdom of Buddha, The statue consists of triple-Layered Gold, 3D Embossed Carving with Deep Multi-Layered Engraving.
