Beautifully Handcrafted Precious Guru Padmasambhava Statue Symbol of Spiritual Wisdom
This Precious Guru Padmasambhava statue is a depiction of the famous Padmasambhava, the founder of Tibetan Buddhism. Standing 20.1" (51 cm) tall, with a base width of 13.4" (34 cm), and weighing 9.76 kg. The statue is handcrafted in Nepal, with the copper body delicately embellished with triple layers of 24K gold gilding, deeply engraved carving, and intricate acrylic & gold paintings.
Padmasambhava is seated on a lotus throne, holding a vajra in his right hand and a skull cup carrying the nectar of wisdom immortality in his left hand. A "khatvanga" (sacred trident) with three severed heads leans on his left shoulder, symbolizing freedom from the three principal causes of misery (kayas). His robes are wonderfully molded with exquisite decors, and his unique cap is topped with an eagle feather on top.
