Finely Hand-Carved Green Tara Statue for Meditation and Ritual
The Green Tara statue was expertly hand-carved in the traditional Himalayan style by Vajrayana craftsmen from the Kathmandu Valley. The statue is comprised of fine oxidized copper that gives it an element of a classic elegant look. Here, the Green Tara is shown sitting serenely on a moon disc lotus seat, performing the 'Prithvi Mudra' with her right hand to represent the body's healing and spiritual equilibrium. She is also portrayed making the "Varada Mudra," a gesture of compassion and generosity, with her left hand while holding an Utpala flower, a symbol of purity and enlightenment.
We can guarantee that the statue was made using only the best materials and will last a very long time. The ideal Buddhist shrine addition can be a meditative accompaniment for yourself or any devotee.

Tara is the savior, the personification of compassion, the one who reaches out and freely replies to everyone who is suffering. Tara is courageous and generous to a fault. Green Tara and White Tara are her most popular incarnations, though she occasionally appears as Red Tara in Dakini form. "Om tare tuttare ture svaha," says Green Tara. White Tara's mantra is "om tare tuttare ture mama ayu Punya jnana pushtim kuru svaha," which means "om tare tuttare ture mama ayu Punya jnana pushtim kuru svaha."
