Handmade in Century-old Craft, the Manjushri Statue on Lion
This Manjushri on Lion Statue is a beautiful representation of the Bodhisattva of Wisdom. The intricate details of its handmade design capture the divine essence of Manjushri, making it perfect for any home or office shrine for your mindfulness practice.
This statue depicts the Bodhisattva Manjushri, who is also known as the god of wisdom. In Kathmandu, a Nepali craftsman created this figure out of copper and 24K gold. The acrylic paint enhances the delicate design patterns on the statue. The deity is seen atop a lion, her right leg bent inwards and resting on a flowering lotus flower. The deity's hands are folded between each other, holding the stem of a utpala flower in each hand, which also carries the book of knowledge and the fiery sword. The deity's crown and other embellishments on the statue are adorned with turquoise and valuable stones. Our artists worked for months to carve the exquisite design of the statue.
