Bodhisattva Lord Chenrezig Statue Symbol of Love and Compassion
A Tibetan art, this statue of Lord Chenrezig is meant to evoke devotion and tranquility. It is an altar or holy area decor, measuring 13.4 inches (34 cm) in height, 11.2 inches (28.5 cm) in base width, and weighs 4.26 kg.
Chenrezig is represented in the vajra posture (lotus posture), which represents spiritual reliability and tranquillity. His four arms symbolize his boundless ability to assist and increase sentient individuals. The front two hands are held together in anjali mudra (prayer gesture) at the heart which symbolizes compassion and the combination of wisdom and love. In his upper right palm, he clutches a mala (prayer beads) to represent his continuous chanting of the compassionate mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum." His upper left hand holds a lotus (padma), which symbolizes purity and enlightenment free of earthly pain.
