Traditionally Hand-Carved Amitayus The Long Life Buddha Statue
This Amitayus The Long Life Buddha Statue was diligently hand-made using ancient Himalayan techniques. The god is portrayed as having a calm, Buddhist countenance while sitting on a moon disc lotus seat. Generation after generation has passed down the knowledge necessary to create these sculptures of deities. The copper that has been oxidized makes up the body. The statue has been intricately hand-carved with patterns. This artwork was created in our studio over more than a month. Here Manjushri holds the stem of the lotus with both hands. In the figurine, the vase is placed on the lotus flower. The figurine weighs about 5 kg. All the attributes of the deity are hand-carved from the crown to the lotus seat.
