Silver Plated Amitayus Long Life Buddha Sculpture
The Long Life Buddha Sculpture was expertly hand-carved in Nepal's traditional Himalayan style. We have depicted the deity in the statue as being peaceful and tranquil, sitting on a lotus seat atop a moon disc and holding a vase of amrita—the nectar of immortality with both hands. Using oxidized copper, we shaped the body and added different body ornaments as decoration. The crown, silk scarf, body ornaments, petals on the lotus seat, and part of the vase are silver-plated. The color of oxidized copper and silver plating is unique, and its contrast is quite enthralling. It took us months and months of hard work and dedication to complete the statue.
This statue of Amitayus has accurate traditional iconography and fine details and will be a perfect gift to a devotee like you from Nepal.

Amitayus, of the Aparimitagunasamchaya or Amitavyhavat pure world, is usually shown in his apparitional buddha form (sambhogakaya), red in color, wearing a crown and jewels, and holding a long-life vase over two hands in a meditation gesture. A Buddha is said to have three bodies in the Mahayana Buddhist tradition: a form body (nirmanakaya), an apparitional body (sambhogakaya), and an ultimate truth body (sambhogakaya) (dharmakaya).
