Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Statue, Gilded in 24K Gold Statue
Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is an enlightened being who is most revered in East Asian Buddhism. He is usually portrayed as a Buddhist monk. He is depicted seated on the moon disc lotus pedestal with a calm and peaceful face. In his right hand, he holds a pearl with magical properties beyond description. Furthermore, his left hand is performing the Varada "gift-giving" mudra. This magnificent statue was sculpted by our experienced artisans based in Kathmandu, Nepal made on a copper body and gilded with pure 24k gold.

Ksitigarbha Between the passing of Gautama (Sakyamuni) Buddha and the rising of Maitreya Buddha, he vowed to teach all beings of the six worlds. He also vowed not to attain Buddhahood until all those imprisoned in hell were released. He is known as the bodhisattva of the earth, and he is thought to be the bodhisattva of all those trapped in hell, as well as the guardian of the souls of deceased children, aborted fetuses, travelers, and children in general.
