Je Tsongkhapa And His Disciples Statue- Gyaltsab Je, Khedrup Je
The statue represents Je Tsongkhapa and his disciples- Gyaltsab Je and Khedrup Je. Tsongkhapa emphasized the importance of study and practice throughout his life, and he had little time for miraculous manifestations. He had frequent visions of Manjushri, who taught him hidden Tantric teachings, although only a few advanced followers knew about them. His emphasis on clean moral conduct as the foundation for practical spiritual training and development was one of his teaching's distinguishing traits. He offered an evident and extensive discourse on the Vinaya.
Gyaltsab Je was Lama Tsongkhapa's most famous disciple. He oversaw the building of Gaden Monastery and was named its second monk after Tsongkhapa. After Lama Tsongkhapa's death, he became the Gaden Tripa, or "holder of the Gaden Throne," the Gelug tradition's leader.
Khedrup Je was the 1st Panchen Lama and one of Lama Tsongkhapa's primary pupils. He was a leading person in Lama Tsongkhapa's instruction of the First Dalai Lama, the youngest of Lama Tsongkhapa's five principal followers.
