Traditionally Hand-crafted Green Tara Statue for Your Buddhist Altar
Delicately handcrafted in our workshop, the Green Tara statue is intricately designed with unique Nepali motifs. Carved from fine oxidized copper by our traditionally trained Vajrayana artists, this figurine looks elegant and antique. The deity sits atop a moon disc lotus seat with serene and compassionate facial expressions as two Utpala flowers sit beside the deity's head, a symbol of purity and enlightenment. She can also be seen portraying the 'Varada Mudra’ (gesture of generosity) with her right hand and the ‘Vaidarka Mudra’ (gesture of discussion and transmission) with her left hand.
This piece is an excellent souvenir for any devotee like yourself and can be used in your daily practices and activities of meditation and yoga.

Tara is the savior, the personification of compassion, the one who reaches out and freely replies to everyone who is suffering. Tara is courageous and generous to a fault. Green Tara and White Tara are her most popular incarnations, though she occasionally appears as Red Tara in Dakini form. "Om tare tuttare ture svaha," says Green Tara. White Tara's mantra is "om tare tuttare ture mama ayu Punya jnana pushtim kuru svaha," which means "om tare tuttare ture mama ayu Punya jnana pushtim kuru svaha."
