Guru Rinpoche Set with Consort | The Master of Tantra
This is a handmade statue of Guru Rinpoche Set with Consort standing at the height of 21.5”/54.5cm (Height) and 12.2”/31cm (Base). This statue is made of copper, covered with a triple layer of 24K gold gilding, and carved with deeply engraved carvings that produce a magnificent 3D-like effect. This sculpture, adorned with hand-carved gemstones and handcrafted by expert Nepalese artisans, elegantly symbolizes Himalayan Buddhism's sacred traditions, making it an appropriate addition to altars, meditation places, or sacred collections.
Guru Rinpoche is seated in the "royal ease" posture, symbolizing his authority over the spiritual and material realms. Vajra is held in his right hand, symbolizing indestructible compassion and wisdom. Skull Cup: In his left hand, it contains a vase of immortality filled with nectar, representing deathless wisdom. Guru Rinpoche wears a five-petaled lotus hat with symbolic elements such as the sun and moon (wisdom and skillful means), a vajra top (unshakable samadhi), and a vulture feather (highest realization). His face combines serenity and wrathfulness, reflecting both compassion for sentient beings and his ability to subdue obstacles. Mandarava (Right): An Indian princess who became an accomplished yogini. She holds a longevity vase, symbolizing spiritual attainment. Yeshe Tsogyal (Left) and A Tibetan princess regarded as Guru Rinpoche’s main disciple. The throne is adorned with intricate carvings, including lotus petals symbolizing purity. The arch behind him features decorative elements like floral patterns, jewels, and auspicious symbols.

Guru Rinpoche, also known as Padmasambhava, is one of the most revered figures in Tibetan Buddhism. He is often referred to as the "Lotus-Born".
