Lotus-Born Guru Rinpoche Practice Sculpture
The Guru Rinpoche Practice Sculpture was created in a Himalayan tradition handed down through the generations in our studio. The statue portrays the deity holding a skull vase in his right hand and a trident resting on his shoulder, all while wearing garments embellished with valuable gemstones. We molded the body using copper, later onto which intricate patterns were hand carved. We used a hammer and small chisels to hand-carve the intricate design patterns. To do delicate carvings, artists must have decades of experience as he has to create intricate design patterns on a small surface area. The deity is fully gilded using genuine 24K gold. The acrylic paint highlights the facial attributes, giving it a captivating appearance. Only materials of the highest quality are used for the statue. We spent several months and months carving the figurine, delicately adorning the decorations, and designing the foundations. This statue weighs about 12.04 kg.
This figurine of Guru Rinpoche will be a perfect gift from Nepal to a devotee like you that will aid you in your practices and regular activities such as meditation and yoga.

For most Himalayan Buddhists, Guru Rinpoche is the second Buddha, the Buddha of all forms and teachings of enlightenment, focusing on the tantras. Tantra teaches us to initially see our instructors as Guru Rinpoche, just as the Great Way leads us to see our enlightened nature and name it buddha-nature. Then we view everything as Guru Rinpoche, down to the atoms of our bodies, all beings equally, and every scrap of every blade of grass, every grain of sand. Finally, it is Guru Rinpoche who we realize when we recognize our natural, timeless awareness.
