Tibetan Handcrafted Gold Gilded Green Tara Bodhisattva Sculpture
We have traditionally hand-carved the statue of Buddhist Green Tara Bodhisattva in our studio in Nepal. The body is molded using copper, hand-craved with intricate design patterns, and glided with 24K pure gold. She is depicted peacefully seated over a moon disc lotus with her right hand performing an earth-touching mudra, and her left hand is in the vitarka mudra while she holds an utpala in both hands. We have creatively embellished the robe, body jewelry, and crown with priceless gemstones. This figure may be used for a variety of Buddhist rites as well as daily exercises like yoga and meditation.

Tara is the savior, the personification of compassion, the one who reaches out and freely replies to everyone who is suffering. Tara is courageous and generous to a fault. Green Tara and White Tara are her most popular incarnations, though she occasionally appears as Red Tara in Dakini form. "Om tare tuttare ture svaha," says Green Tara. White Tara's mantra is "om tare tuttare ture mama ayu Punya jnana pushtim kuru svaha," which means "om tare tuttare ture mama ayu Punya jnana pushtim kuru svaha."
