Serene Long Life Amitayus Buddha Statue for Meditation and Spirituality
Intricately handcrafted in our workshop, this traditional Amitayus Buddha statue is full of unique Himalayan artistry. With both hands sitting on a lotus seat atop a moon disc, the Buddha is pictured holding a vase that is filled with "amrita," the nectar of immortality. The Buddha's body and headpiece are adorned with precious gemstones like turquoise. Our traditionally skilled Vajrayana artists carved the statue out of copper with hammers and chisels. The statue is partly gilded in gold and colored with acrylic paints giving it its final bright red look.
It is a perfect souvenir for any devotee like yourself, can be used for Buddhist rituals, and is a great addition to your Altar.

Amitayus, of the Aparimitagunasamchaya or Amitavyhavat pure world, is usually shown in his apparitional buddha form (sambhogakaya), red in color, wearing a crown and jewels, and holding a long-life vase over two hands in a meditation gesture. A Buddha is said to have three bodies in the Mahayana Buddhist tradition: a form body (nirmanakaya), an apparitional body (sambhogakaya), and an ultimate truth body (sambhogakaya) (dharmakaya).
