Traditional Himalayan Artwork of Goddess Saraswati Gilded in Gold and Silver
This high-quality oxidized copper statue of Hindu Goddess Saraswati is made by traditionally trained Vajrayana artists in our studio. Saraswati is depicted seated atop a moon disc lotus seat bearing four arms, each holding a symbolic item to her divinity. She holds a musical instrument called a veena with her primary hands, a crystal rosary with her secondary right hand, and a manuscript with her secondary left hand, representing the wisdom of books and constant learning. She is accompanied by a duck that represents her ability to distinguish truth from falsehood.
Since many centuries ago, we have been creating old Vajrayana statues like this one. A perfect addition to your Buddhist Altar and a gift for any devout.
