Handmade Sculpture of Four Arm Chenrezig, Avalokiteshvara, Buddha of Compassion
Four Arm Chenrezig is a traditional work of art that depicts the Buddhist deity Avalokiteshvara, also known as the Buddha of Compassion. Chenrezig is a Bodhisattva who is said to embody all Buddhas' compassion.
A Nepali artist created the sculpture in our studio using traditional techniques passed down through generations. The intricate details and craftsmanship involved in creating the sculpture reflect the Buddhist tradition's emphasis on compassion practice. The Bodhisattva sits on a moon disc lotus seat. The first pair forms the 'Namaskara Mudra' in front of the chest, while the second pair each holds an item such as a crystal rosary on his left and a Utpala flower on his right.
The statue could be ideal addition to your Buddhist shrine, this meditative companion can be used by yourself or any devotee.

Chenrezig is the Compassionate Protector of Tibet and the Bodhisattva of Compassion. Tibetan Buddhists see His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, as the earthly manifestation of this compassionate Buddha. Chenrezig tells us that the way to end our suffering is not to run away from our difficulties but to work through them with compassion for ourselves and others and embrace all sentient creatures with our heart's mercy and love.
