Tibetan Fasting Buddha Shakyamuni Statue Gilded in 24K Gold
We created this stunning gold statue of fasting buddha Shakyamuni in our studio using a traditional Himalayan carving technique passed down from generation to generation from Nepal. The body of Shakyamuni Buddha, made out of copper, is gilded with 24-karat pure gold. Gilded gold, the statue exhibits excellent luster. Shakyamuni Buddha can be seen atop a moon disc lotus with an alms bowl over his lap on his right hand while performing the 'Bhumisparsa mudra,' with his left hand symbolizing the moment Buddha attained enlightenment claiming the earth as his witness.
