Gold Gilded Premium Statue Of Dudjom Lingpa Rinpoche
Our very professional artisan has beautifully hand-carved this beautiful statue of Dujdom Lingpa Rinpoche. The statue was made of pure copper, later coated with gold, and gilded in some particular body parts like the face, as gold is considered the golden beam of the sun and is a spiritual material in Tibetan Buddhism. Rinpoche Dudjom Lingpa is depicted with a very serene expression, highlighted carefully with fine-acrylic paints by our artisan. He has both his hands open in the air, holding vajra by his right hand a little above his neck and holding phurba in his other hand below his chest. He is shown seated on a tiger skin, as in Tibetan Buddhism, which is considered a symbol of courageousness and the ability to overcome barriers.

He was born in 1835 in the Golok region of Tibet and was considered a reincarnation of the great master Longchen Rabjam. He received teachings and transmissions from many of the most highly realized masters of his time and became renowned as a scholar, meditation master, and tertön, or discoverer of hidden treasures. He was mainly known for emphasizing Dzogchen's practice, considered the Nyingma tradition's highest teaching. Dudjom Lingpa passed away in 1861, and his teachings continue to be studied and practiced today by his students and many other practitioners.
