Disciples of Tshongkhapa | 24k Gold Gilded Sculpture
This handmade statue of disciples of Tshongkhapais is made of copper, covered with a triple layer of 24K gold gilding, and carved with deeply engraved carvings that produce a magnificent 3D-like effect. This statue is standing at 13.0”/33cm (Height) and 7.9”/20cm (Base). Handcrafted by expert Nepalese artisans, elegantly symbolizes Himalayan Buddhism's sacred traditions, making it an appropriate addition to altars, meditation places, or sacred collections.
Both disciples wear the distinctive yellow hats of the Gelug tradition, symbolizing their mastery of wisdom and adherence to the monastic discipline. Their right hands are held at heart level in the Dharmachakra Mudra, symbolizing teaching and expounding the Dharma. Both are depicted in a meditative pose on lotus bases, signifying spiritual purity and enlightenment.
