Traditional Tibetan Home Decor Buddha Shakyamuni Statue
The oxidized copper used to sculpt this Home Decor Buddha Shakyamuni Statue. He is shown relaxing and at ease while seated on a moon disc lotus seat. His left hand is holding an alms bowl over his lap, representing the 49 grains of rice he received before enlightenment while meditating. He demonstrates his enlightenment by lightly touching the earth with his right hand. Our artists carved intricate design patterns into the statue over several months, giving the Buddha Shakyamuni statue the highest degree of detail possible. This Buddha statue may be used for Buddhist rituals and ceremonies at monasteries and private pursuits like daily yoga and meditation.

After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
