The Buddha is depicted wearing an elaborate crown, with five points, adorned with jewels. This crown represents five dhyani Buddhas: Vairocana, Akshobhya, Ratnasambhava, Amitabha, and Amogasiddhi, from which we can control our five negative emotions like ignorance, delusion, anger, hatred, pride, miserliness, desire, lust, jealousy, and fear. The statue also depicts the Bhumisparsha Mudra, in which the Buddha's right hand extends to touch the Earth. This famous gesture refers to the moment of Shakyamuni's enlightenment, when he summoned the Earth to witness his waking. The crown, robes, and mudra emphasize Shakyamuni's spiritual and regal attributes, depicting him as a symbol of enlightenment and wisdom. He is carrying an alms bowl in his right hand, which represents acceptance into the monastic community, generosity, detachment, and spiritual power.
