The Manjushri bodhisattva of wisdom is an intricately handcrafted piece produced in our studio and designed with unique Nepali motifs. Here, the bodhisattva can be seen sitting on a moon disc lotus seat with a compassionate look as he wields a blazing sword, signifying his capacity to slay ignorance and negativity. He performs the "Vitraka Mudra" with his right hand, which stands for the Buddha's teaching being transmitted. This statue's beautiful detailing and gold gilding on its copper surface is sure to capture the eye and add a sense of peace and tranquility to any setting. Manjushri means "very auspicious" in Sanskrit. Manjushri, one of the compassion bodhisattvas, is more famous among Tibetan Buddhists. He, as the Buddha Resplendent, resembles a brilliant sun. Manjushri is a Tibetan name that means "good companion." He also represents the Kadampa Buddhist tradition, recognized by its scholars.
