Hand-Carved Buddha Shakyamuni Sculpture for Rituals
Delicately handcrafted in our workshop, the traditional buddha Shakyamuni sculpture is intricately designed with unique Nepali motifs. Shakyamuni Buddha can be seen sitting on a moon disc lotus with an alms bowl on his left lap and his usual expression of serenity and tranquility. With his left hand, he makes the "Bhumisparsa Mudra," which symbolizes one of the most significant events in the Buddha's life—the moment the Buddha attained enlightenment and declared the earth to be his witness.
The statue is comprised of oxidized copper, providing it with the elegance of antiquity. An excellent souvenir for any devotee like yourself and can be used in your daily practices and activities of meditation and yoga.

Shakyamuni Siddhartha Gautama was Buddha's original name. Only when he became the Buddha was he given the name Shakyamuni. Buddha means "awakened one" in Sanskrit. In his left hand, he carries an alms bowl filled with three priceless nectars, signifying his victory over the three demons of uncontrollable death, polluted aggregates, and delusion.
