Traditionally Hand Carved Chenrezig Buddhist Statue
We have exquisitely hand-carved the Buddhist Chenrezig statue in the traditional Himalayan Art of Nepal. The statue was carved using a copper body, gilded with 24k genuine gold, and finely painted with acrylic paint, which highlights the importance of the deity. The flawless piece of handicraft was sculpted by the artists of Nepal and took months to complete. The deity is depicted with four arms, seated over a moon disc lotus with a peaceful expression with her two front arms in a namaste gesture while holding a wish fulfilling gem. We have magnificently adorned the jewels and embellished them with precious pearls and corals. This art will be a tremendous gift from Nepal to a practitioner like you.

Chenrezig epitomizes the bodhisattva's determination to delay attaining Buddhahood until he has assisted every sentient being on Earth in achieving freedom from pain and the cycle of death and rebirth. His name has been translated as "the lord who observes in all directions." The practice of Chenrezig/Avalokiteshvara is encouraged to develop a calm and compassionate heart. Compassion is the root foundation for excelling in the Buddhist path. He listens to the prayers of all sentient beings in times of challenge and difficulty.
