Chakrasamvara is depicted standing on a sun disc, with four faces and twelve arms. Each face has three eyes, a gaping mouth, and four bared fangs. The first two hands hold a vajra and a bell while embracing the consort. The last two hold an elephant skin outstretched, the third right a damaru, the fourth an axe, the fifth a trident, and the sixth a curved knife. The third left wields a katvanga with a vajra, the fourth a vajra noose, the fifth a blood-filled skullcup, and the sixth bears Brahma's four-faced head. The hair is tied into a topknot at the crown of the head. Each head features a crown made of five dried human skulls. He stands upon Mahādeva and Umādevi, symbolizing the transcendence of ego.
