Gold Gilded Buddha Vajradhara Sculpture
The Buddha Vajradhara sculpture was precisely hand-crafted in our studio using traditional Himalayan techniques. We are a group of artists from the Kathmandu Valley who have been carving enormous antique Vajrayana statues for many generations. The divine deity has been elegantly adorned with priceless turquoise and gemstones. The deity is seated atop the lotus seat with a serene look. Vajradhara holds a vajra in each hand, crossed and close to his chest. His entire body is covered with exquisite decorations. We gilded the body made of pure copper using pure 24k gold. To highlight the facial attributes of the deity, we have used acrylic paintings. This can be seen in the silk garments as well. The robe has exquisite hand-carved design patterns.
This Vajradhara statue will be a perfect gift from Nepal to a devotee like you that will aid you in your practices and regular activities such as meditation and yoga.

The dharmakaya, also known as Vajradhara Buddha, is the foundation of all enlightened manifestations. Because Tilopa received the Vajrayana teachings directly from Vajradhara, the dharmakaya buddha, Vajradhara is fundamental to the Kagyu lineage. As a result, the Kagyu lineage sprang from the nature of Buddhahood itself.
