Traditionally Handmade, Rare Buddha Vajradhara Statue
The Buddha Vajradhara statue is a one-of-a-kind piece of handmade Himalayan art from Nepal sculpted in our studio. The statue is handcrafted by skilled artisans using traditional techniques handed down through generations, resulting in a true work of art. The sculpture was molded on a copper body and hand-polished to a lustrous finish from high-quality arc-lyric paints and genuine 24k Gold. He sits on a lotus seat with his hands crossed near his chest and he holds a vajra and a bell that symbolizes energy (male) and emptiness (female). The head and body ornaments are meticulously carved and gilded with pure gold, and corals are embedded to add a natural touch of authenticity and historic elegance. His expression is calm, and the costume motifs are meticulously sculpted in minute detail. Vajradhara embodies the essence of the historical Buddha's attainment of enlightenment.

The dharmakaya, also known as Vajradhara Buddha, is the foundation of all enlightened manifestations. Because Tilopa received the Vajrayana teachings directly from Vajradhara, the dharmakaya buddha, Vajradhara is fundamental to the Kagyu lineage. As a result, the Kagyu lineage sprang from the nature of Buddhahood itself.
