The Buddha is depicted seated on a moon disc lotus holding an alms bowl in his right hand while portraying the 'Bhumisparsa Mudra,’ representing the Buddha's awakening. Acrylic paints highlight the Buddha's sublime facial expression. The copper statue is gilded with gold and highlighted with acrylic colors giving its final look.

Shakyamuni Siddhartha Gautama was Buddha's original name. Only when he became the Buddha was he given the name Shakyamuni. Buddha means "awakened one" in Sanskrit. In his left hand, he carries an alms bowl filled with three priceless nectars, signifying his victory over the three demons of uncontrollable death, polluted aggregates, and delusion.
