The Bodhisattva Manjushri Statue was created in our studio using intricate handiwork and distinctive Nepali themes. In the statue, the bodhisattva wields a sword in his left hand, representing his power to cut through ignorance and delusions. He sits on a moon-shaped lotus seat and performs the 'Vitarka Mudra' that signifies the discussion and transmission of the teachings of the Buddha. The statue is bejeweled with precious gemstones artistically placed by our artists.

Manjushri means "very auspicious" in Sanskrit. Manjushri, one of the compassion bodhisattvas, is more famous among Tibetan Buddhists. He, as the Buddha Resplendent, resembles a brilliant sun. Manjushri is a Tibetan name that means "good companion." He also represents the Kadampa Buddhist tradition, recognized by its scholars.
