Himalayan Oxidized Amitayus Buddha Mantra
Expertly hand-carved in Nepal's traditional Himalayan manner, Amitayus Buddha Mantra sculpture. The statue's representation of the deity shows him as calm and serene, sitting on a lotus seat atop a moon disc and holding a vase of amrita—the nectar of immortality—in both hands. We shaped the body out of oxidized copper and then embellished it with various body embellishments. Precise details can be seen on the crown, silk scarf, body jewelry, petals on the lotus seat, and a portion of the vase. Finishing the statue took us months and months of arduous work and dedication.
This statue of Amitayus Buddha has precise traditional iconography and fine details and will be a lovely gift to a practitioner like you from Nepal.

Amitayus, of the Aparimitagunasamchaya or Amitavyhavat pure world, is usually shown in his apparitional buddha form (sambhogakaya), red in color, wearing a crown and jewels, and holding a long-life vase over two hands in a meditation gesture. A Buddha is said to have three bodies in the Mahayana Buddhist tradition: a form body (nirmanakaya), an apparitional body (sambhogakaya), and an ultimate truth body (sambhogakaya) (dharmakaya).
