Sacred Amitayus Bodhisattva Deity Statue | Long Life Bodhisattva Gold Gilded Artwork
This Amitayus Bodhisattva deity statue, crafted by expert artisans in Patan, Nepal, is an example of Nepalese workmanship, with detailed detailing and a dazzling finish. The copper body is gilded with 24K gold, which gives the figure a warm, divine glow and represents the Bodhisattva's relationship to timeless wisdom. The statue's details are enhanced with gold and acrylic hand-painted embellishments that highlight the delicate characteristics of Amitayus' placid face, elegant dress, and serene pose.
We have depicted the deity in the statue as being peaceful and tranquil, seated on a lotus seat atop a moon disc and holding a vase of amrita, the nectar of immortality, in both hands. For molding the figurine, we used copper. The utpala, various body ornaments, and crown are all custom-made with intricate design patterns.

Amitayus, of the Aparimitagunasamchaya or Amitavyhavat pure world, is usually shown in his apparitional buddha form (sambhogakaya), red in color, wearing a crown and jewels, and holding a long-life vase over two hands in a meditation gesture. A Buddha is said to have three bodies in the Mahayana Buddhist tradition: a form body (nirmanakaya), an apparitional body (sambhogakaya), and an ultimate truth body (sambhogakaya) (dharmakaya).
